Areas of research and experimentation:
- Replacing Durable Materials: Together with paper manufacturers and brands, we design and implement solutions made of cardboard or multi-layer cardboard-and-film composites to replace durable materials in a wide variety of industrial applications, ensuring greater circularity and reducing waste of raw materials.
- Single-material solutions: For many applications, cardboard alone may be sufficient to ensure the packaging’s effectiveness. Together with our R&D department, we develop the best single-material packaging solution to further enhance recyclability.
- Custom solutions for the food industry: For any food product in contact with the material and under any conditions of use, we design and implement a custom solution that ensures safety, technological suitability, and—ideally—end-of-life recycling as part of the paper collection process.
- Optimization of Material Thicknesses: Through structural analysis, we help customers reduce the weight of their packaging without compromising rigidity (lightweighting), thereby optimizing costs and reducing waste.
